Last year, Talley made a big move by opening an Outside Plant
Division to help support our goal of expanding and growing into
new markets. As part of this plan, we brought in Steve Welch,
who brings a wealth of experience in the Broadband OSP world.
Not long a er Steve joined, things moved fast and we quickly
had a full team in place and ready to roll.
So, what exactly is Broadband OSP?
Broadband OSP focuses on "wired" fiber op c network builds
and maintenance. These networks support Rural Carriers,
Internet Service Providers, CATV, and U li es that use aerial,
buried, and underground cable plant. While some copper
applica ons may s ll exist, the primary focus is fiber —
the backbone of today's broadband infrastructure. These
networks play a cri cal role in delivering data, voice, and
video from the datacenter to the end user and back again.
What's ahead?
As Talley con nues to grow alongside Rexel, customers can
look forward to an expanding por olio of vendors, products,
applica ons, and market support designed to meet the
evolving demands of broadband infrastructure.
