Waveguide Bridge Accys & Components
Solid Bridge Channel
Solid Waveguide Bridge Channels support horizontal runs of coaxial cable and waveguide while providing the highest degree of
protection from hazards such as falling ice. The channel is slotted at regular intervals to accept standard 3/8" or 10mm hardware,
presenting a convenient means to attach coax support hardware such as Cluster Brackets or Coax Support Blocks. Multiple sec-
tions of Solid Waveguide Bridge Channel can be spliced together to create longer runs or to accommodate bends. A full selec-
tion of support components are available to secure the channel in virtually any application. Installation hardware must be pur-
chased separately to accommodate specific application requirements.

Pipe Columns
Pipe Columns provide support for Grated and Solid Waveguide Bridge Channel between the tower and the equipment shelter. Two
types of Pipe Columns are offered to accommodate different installation styles. The Direct Burial Pipe Column allows embedment
in concrete, while the Base Shoe Pipe Column includes wedge anchors for installation. The Direct Burial Pipe Column requires a
minimum of 3'4" of depth for a secure footing. The maximum recommended spacing between Pipe Columns is 10' for Solid
Waveguide Bridge Channel, and 8' for Grated Waveguide Bridge Channel. All Pipe Columns feature a standard 3-1/2" outside
diameter at the top for mounting a Pipe Head. The Pipe Head and support channel must be purchased separately to attach the
Waveguide Bridge Channel to the Pipe Column. The Pipe Columns are available in a wide range of heights, with an additional
adjustable height of up to 24" added by a Pipe Head.

Pipe Head
Pipe heads are fitted over pipe columns to support grated and solid waveguide bridge channel. The pipe head slides over stan-
dard 3-1/2" diameter pipe columns, and features an adjustable height of up to 24" to provide flexibility to suit all applications.
Support channel kits, which must be purchased separately, attach to the top of the pipe head to secure the waveguide channel.
