The Intergrated Power System is a unique rectifier/telecom power supply which incorporates built-in battery back-up, numerous power accessories and auxilliary power
inputs within a single 2RU (3.5") chassis, thus eliminating time-consuming system integration, component sourcing and installation, while saving precious rack space. The
IPS is an ideal rectifier/battery power solution for low power customer premises, network and telecom applications.
A precious regulated rectifier/battery charger, back-up battery, low voltage battery disconnect, digital output metering, L.E.D. status and Form C alarm contacts are all
prewired and calibrated within the IPS for plug-and-play operation. Plug-in terminals are provided for easy wiring of a parallel rectifier (48 VDC and 24 VDC models), or exter-
nal battery string for increased back-up capacity. The load is powered through the internal batteries, providing uninterrupted DC power switch-over in the event of AC power
failure. Batteries recharge when AC is restored. A manual battery disconnect switch allows internal or external battery service or replacement while the system is running.
