Isolated Ground
These units accept a wide input range at 24 or 48 Vdc nominal, positive or negative ground, and produce pure 12, 24
or 48 volt power for noise free communications. The solid state circuitry is conservatively designed and semi-conduc-
tors are selected and tested to withstand 200% of normal operating power. Rated for continuous duty at full load.
Output voltage is maintained within 1% for all line and load conditions and the output is well filtered, allowing use with
sensitive transceivers and telecom equipment. Includes front panel volt/amp meters and voltage adjustment. 19" and
23" rack mounting tabs are provided for center or front mount. The case is designed for optimum cooling of the com-
ponents and its low profile occupies minimal amount of rack space(2RU). (Note: Units are convection cooled. Multiple
unit rack installations require heat deflector) Protection features include: Input circuit breaker, Output fuse, Current lim-
ited/short circuit proof, Fail-safe components guard against over-voltage condition, Automatic thermal shutdown and
recovery and Reverse polarity protection.

Isolated Converters
The ISO converters were designed for use on electric forklifts (where high line transients and voltage spikes are com-
mon) and will operate on positive or negative electrical systems. They incorporate over voltage protection, over load
protection, terminal block connections and an extra terminal to allow the converters to be turned on/off with the igni-
tion switch.
